Our country is involved in an illegal, cruel war. Stop the hatred, talk, listen, work together, laugh together, but first we must mourn together for all victims. No more violence in word or thought. Four years after the invasion of Iraq, the world in is a worse place. Fear and religion has been divisive. Justice and solidarity may yield better results. Moveon.org, CODEPINK and Women in Black are just a few of the many who yearn for Peace. Peace. Peace. Peace. Justice. Respect. Mitakuye oyasin. We are all related.
You can mourn, talk, listen and pray for peace but it just hasn't happened that peace spontaneously broke out in any part of the world. We all yearn for peace but the reality is that Sadam would have had his country back on the track to war and we needed to stop it.
ReplyDeleteAs a Vietnam vet, I wish you could understand how it hurt the soldiers when people spit on us and called us Baby Killers for doing our duty. Pray for Peace but understand that Freedom isn't free and soldiers are paying that price. MUD
