Quote

Let me quote Marguerite Duras today: One does not find solitude, one creates it. Solitude creates itself. Alone, I created it here because I decided that I should be alone, that I would be in this house. I closed myself within it - I was afraid of course. And then I liked it, and the house became the place where I wrote...

  1. I get a lot of guff from people for being a hermit. But, I am a social hermit. And I require solitude in order to write something interesting. If people do not enjoy what I write, then I do. I will start an exclusive club for Social hermits. They might just show up. We give free weird lessons, but they are not mandatory. j
